Update (July 9, 2008) Hello Everyone, I hope you all are enjoying your summer and had a safe and wonderful 4th of July. Devin and I were without the girls this 4th and so we went to the Playboy mansion. Mr. Hefner always has the most awesome fireworks and so we had a terrific day. It's been pretty hectic as usual on the B&B set just before summer hiatus, which is coming up for me at the end of July. Seems we always cram a lot of shows into a shorter time period, which is a little stressful on me. Look for a layout on Devin and I coming up soon in "Soaps In Depth" this month. They built a cute little kitchen and shot some great photos of us for "DevRonn" and "Devin's Kickass Cajun Seasoning". I'm happy to announce that "PLAYER" now has a booking agent and so we may be coming to a city near you in the not so distant future. I will keep you posted on the progress. Right now, I'm trying to get through the next couple weeks before summer vacation!!! Enjoy!! Blue Skies, Ronn Update (June 18, 2008) Hello Everyone, As usual it's been a non-stop month of activities. Creason graduated from middle school, so hard to believe my little girl is growing up. I have since been working with Devin on the official launch party for "DevRonn", which will be on Devin's birthday June 25th. We are very excited about our products. There will be a collection of wines I have personalized coming soon. Right now, I am still juggling the show and my music with "PLAYER" for a new upcoming album. Devin and I are shooting a layout for "Soaps In Depth" and I am looking forward to summer break. I plan to spend time with my kids riding horses and having BBQs with friends. Seems this year is flying by, I can't believe half of it is gone already. Thank you for all the father's day wishes. It was a quiet one for me this year since my girls are on vacation with their mom. It's their first visit to Italy, so I switched my father's day for her mother's day this year. I hope you all are having the start of a great summer. Devin and I are planning what we hope will be many "Kickass parties" all over the country to share our wonderful spice with you all and help the great city of New Orleans rebuild. So if you haven't tried "Devin's Kickass Cajun Seasoning" you're missing out because it does kick ass! Blue Skies, Ronn Update (April 10, 2008) I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted here, but life has been hectic lately. I'm doing the best I can to please everyone including my kids, Devin and have some time for myself. But, there is only so much time in the day and most of my days are spent on the set of the show. When I do have precious time off I have to cater to my kids, and their needs are changing now. Creason just got her beloved horse for her 14th birthday and I must watch her ride him and take care of the horse's needs now. I do an enormous amount of driving and Devin and I just launched her new Cajun spice. We created DevRonn Enterprises together and now I have a company to run. The spice and her cookbook were made to help the city of New Orleans rebuild after the devastation of "Hurricane Katrina" and we will personally give part of the proceeds to help that city. I took all the photos of the food in Devin's cookbook and did the logo for the spice, which looks wonderful. So life has been very full and busy lately. We are about to launch the site soon, which Patti has been working so diligently on and feel very excited about our new venture into health, well-being and helping others. I am also working on a new album for "PLAYER" and have been setting up new equipment to record on in my studio. So as you can see I have my plate pretty full. We did manage to have a pajama jam party which was a lot of fun over the spring break. Calee and a couple of neighborhood kids blew us away with their singing and Elliot Easton from "The Cars" stopped by to jam with Peter on guitar. Creason shot the pictures and I will find the time to post them for you soon. Love Ronn Update (December 11, 2007) I just wanted to stop by and wish you all a wonderful holiday. I have had a busy month so far, going to many holiday parties. Creason and Calee had a fun time with the neighborhood kids making Christmas cookies and decorating our tree. Peter Beckett and I played music at a charity event to benefit animals hosted by friend and photographer Christopher Ameruoso who has a wonderful pet magazine called, "Paw Print". Speaking of pets, we have decided to adopt another dog and have been looking at pet shelters with the girls. I found a big cuddly Malimute/Huskie that reminded me of a dog I used to have, named "Pan dog˛, but he took one look at Romeo and growled so viciously; that we thought he'd have Romeo as a snack if he could, so that was out of the question. In addition to all the regular juggle of work, school and crazy holiday shopping madness, I have been having a great holiday season. I want to take the time to thank you all for the love and support you have given me throughout the year and I see you all are having a ball with the eBay bidding. Devin keeps bugging me for more scarves, and now it's turned to boxer shorts! So I told her, I'd give up the ones I wore in the "Sharp Dressed Man" tour. To all the "Moss Maidens" on my forum, you're the best! I hope to make the site even more interactive with lots of personal videos and pics throughout the coming year. There are lots of cool eBay items coming. Devin cleaned out my closet today and is planning on surprising you guys with more goodies before Santa gets here! Happy Holidays to you, Ronn Update (November 10, 2007) Next week I'm off on a Cruise. It's only for about 4 days, but it'll be my first cruise ever. I've never been on a huge boat like this. I'm both excited and apprehensive. I want to bring plenty of things that float! I'm thinking of making a cork suit to wear all the time. If I hear that song that Celine Dion sang, that's it, I'm outta there. It's a cruise with a handful of actors from various daytime shows and many fans who signed up to join us. We fly into Miami and then board the boat and head out for Cancun. I've heard about these boats before. They supposedly have everything you need or want right on board. I'll let you know how it goes. Peter Beckett and I have started compiling new and old songs that will be available along with various videos we've collected of us playing live. We may add some bonus selections of newly recorded interviews as well. I'll let you know as soon as this new PLAYER soup is ready. I was finally able to watch the segment of John Edward Cross Country that I did. For any of you that were able to see it, I'm curious what you thought. Personally, I was kinda disappointed in how short the segment was. We taped so much more interesting stuff than what they ended up using. They edited out all he said about my mother and cousin, as well as most of the totally unexpected appearance of Devin's old friend, Don. My guess is because the editors/producers may have decided a lot of what John said might not be understood by the viewers. But it was amazing for me (and Devin) to hear what John came up with. I will tell you, he's the real deal. There is no way he would have known a majority of what he felt during that reading with me. It was very personal info and dynamics within my family that I never talk to anyone about. I was very impressed by John's ability to tap into whatever dimension he goes to. I want to get a copy of the whole segment we taped, for me, so I can listen again to all he said in it's entirety. What a fascinating ability he has. Also, there's a new "Cooking segment" out there to see. Devin and I each did a show with our wonderful friends Lindsay and Chris. They have a show called Dishing With Celebs. Chef Lindsay cooks with the celebs and Chris Ameruoso (her husband) is the cameraman. The segment turned out really cute and was a lot of fun to do as well. Devin went on to cook one of her exquisite Cajun dishes. I did my world famous omelet. Or as I called it....... Ronnlete. It will make you salivate big time. Enjoy. Chris Ameruoso, so you know, publishes a magazine called PAW PRINT. It's very cute and informative about various Pets and their Celebs. Chris does all the photography and writes it as well. Check it out here: www.chrisaphoto.com/ All for now. Be well, be healthy, and get your butt up and exercise as much as possible. Love, Ronn |
